Special BreathControl Synths

physical modelling

Yamaha VP1

Whereas the VL1's S/VA synthesis is designed to synthesize real monophonic instruments, the VP1 is intended to produce polyphonic synthetic timbres, and uses a different variation of physical modelling called 'Free-oscillation Virtual Acoustics' (and probably based on the Karplus-Strong algorithm for producing plucked and struck sounds).

Neuron Hartmann Music

combines intelligent analysis and synthesis based on neural networks with innovative user interface design...Sounds originate in two so-called resynators, each of which generates a sound based on the models stored on NEURON’s internal hard drive. Using the Blender function, these two models can be mixed and merged in a variety of different ways, creating totally new sounds based on the individual models.

Stephan Sprenger from Prosoniq Software in Karlsruhe / Germany as partner for the sound engine

Dave Smith Evolver:

generate new sounds via the interaction of analog and digital electronics....monophonic, two analog, two digital oscillators...wavetable...FM, Ringmod..$529.00 Export price
